Fire Rated Sliding Doors

After years of design, the Repro R&D department have recently unveiled their latest product. The 1-hour fire rated sliding door is suitable for both chill and freezer applications with a 100mm or 140mm leaf depending on the temperature considerations.

With a stainless steel track and a stainless steel canopy as standard the appearance of the door is not compromised by the robust requirements of the fire testing procedure.

The door has achieved 60-minutes insulation and 60-minutes integrity from the Aidico test centre in Valncia, Spain to the latest EN standard (which is more stringent and tougher to pass than the corresponding BS version).

The door is available in manual format with a counter-balance system that keeps the door in the closed position in the event of a fire. The Repro SCR automatic sliding system has been adapted to suit the fire rated version and we would highly recommend this function for larger door sizes.

Fire rated vision panels with a stainless steel surround and double, triple or heated glass are also offered and do not affect the fire classification of the door.
